Freddie was so unique that it was hard for him to be considered normal, but normal was nothing he strived to be. He wasn’t merely seeking fame. He wanted to become a legend.

In 1991, the same year Freddie passed away, an asteroid was discovered and named in his honour. This asteroid received the name Freddiemercury 17473. It was officially named on the 5th of September 2016, to honour what would have been Freddie’s 70th birthday.
